Neck *must* be lowered or rounded more. Learned that today when I sneezed while modeling the breast plate in front of a mirror. Still have a mark on my chin.....

Aside from that, I feel like I'm making more progress towards the eventual completion of this project. As you can see in the image on the right, I still need some major planishing on the ribcage. My center ridge is very sharp now thanks to the new creasing stake (crafted by Clang) that I used this evening. After the planishing I did this evening, I ran a small hand sander over it to point out the major highs and lows for me. I still have hope that I will get a smooth relatively smooth finish out of it, just must be patient and planish until my arm hurts.

The first thing my husband said after seeing today's work was, "Um, you've enhanced the boobs a little there haven't you?" Actually, I haven't made them any larger, but the planishing and defining I'm doing around the edges does make the light catch them.

My next goal after planishing is to roll the neck and underarm areas. I don't think I'll do a full roll on the neck, just an outward curl.

Polishing this is going to be a challenge. I have always pictured this in a mirror finish, but my hammerwork must be smoothed out before I will attempt that. Must look into buying a buffing wheel, too. Unfortunately, there is no armour shop within reasonable driving distance that I could experiment in.
