This is a photo of our group at the Ohio Renaissance Festival in 1998. (I'm the one in the leather suit 2nd from the right.)

For this piece I used a piece of garment leather and made a front and back apron. To that apron, I riveted pieces of different colored (browns and blacks) with brass rivets. There were 4 rivets, one in each corner, attaching each piece to the base. I made shoulder cops out of 3 layers of leather and added rivets and eyelets around the edges.

I was called Xena that year every where I went. :-) I no longer own this piece. It was sold to a costumer at the festival and is still being rented today.
