This suit was made for a friend. It was made from 10 oz latigo that was hardened in a mixture of beeswax and parafin. There are 178 leather scales each held to the garment leather with two tubular rivets.

He's not in full garb in this picture, the tropical shirt wasn't really meant to be part of the costume. :-)
