I accepted the job of repairing this coif which was made app. 15 years ago. It is made of 1/4" id 17ga (I think) stainless. The entire top was rebuilt ring by ring. As it was my first work on a coif, I see this now as a *big* learning experience. The coif top actually needs a little tweaking, but other than that, the original is a beautiful design.
